हिंदी फिल्मों के महान अभिनेता और ट्रेजेडी किंग दिलीप कुमार का आज जन्मदिन है उन्हें जन्मदिन की ढेर साड़ी शुभकामनाये । दिलीप कुमार का जन्म 11 दिसंबर, 1922 को वर्तमान पाकिस्तान के पेशावर शहर में हुआ था। दिलीप कुमार के बचपन का नाम मोहम्मद युसूफ खान था। नजरो में उदासी और चेहरे पे चमक लिए पेशावर के पठान युसुफ खान ने अपने फ़िल्मी करियर की शुरुवात की । विभाजन के दौरान उनका परिवार मुंबई आकर बस गया। कहते हैं पिता के व्यापार में घाटा होने के कारण वह पुणे की एक कैंटीन में काम करने लगे थे। यहीं देविका रानी की पहली नजर उन पर पड़ी और उन्होंने दिलीप कुमार को अभिनेता बना दिया। उन्होंने ही यूसुफ खान की जगह नया नाम दिलीप कुमार रखा। उनका फिल्मी करियर 1944 में ‘ज्वार भाटा’ फिल्म से शुरू हुआ। लेकिन 1949 में बनी महबूब खान की फिल्म ‘अंदाज’ से वह चर्चा में आए। इसी फिल्म में उस दौर के दो प्रमुख अदाकारों  दलीप कुमार और राजकपूर ने मिलकर काम किया ।  दलीप कुमार की  पहली हिट फिल्म “जुगनू” थी।  दलीप कुमार  अपने  को धर्म की तरह मानते थे  इस बात का पता यही से चलता है जब दलीप को ‘मधुवन में राधिका नाचे” फिल्म में एक सितार वादक का किरदार निभाने को कहा गया तो उन्होंने इस फिल्म के उस गीत की शूटिंग को एक महीने के लिए टाल  दिया सिर्फ इसलिए क्योंकि उस वक़्त उन्हें सितार बजाना नहीं आता था उन्होंने एक महीने में सितार सिखा और फिर उस फिल्म में काम किया । 1948 में आई फिल्म मेला  और उसके बाद  दीदार(1951), देवदास(1955), के  गम्भीर अभिनय से दलीप कुमार को खिताब मिला ट्रेजेडी किंग का । 1957 में फिल्म नया दौर से दलीप कुमार ने अपने फ़िल्मी सफ़र का एक नया दौर लिखा । मुगल-ए-आजम (1960) में उन्होंने मुगल राजकुमार जहांगीर की भूमिका निभाई। उनकी कुछ प्रमुख फिल्मों में क्रांति(1981), विधाता(1982),  कर्मा(1986), इज्जतदार(1990) और सौदागर(1991) शामिल हैं। 1998 में बनी फिल्म “किला” उनकी अब तक की आखिरी फिल्म है।

दिलीप कुमार ने मात्र 54 फिल्मों में ही काम किया। एक समय ऐसा था जब बॉलीवुड में देवानंद, राजकपूर और दिलीप कुमार की त्रिमूर्ति को सफलता की गारंटी माना जाता था। बॉलीवुड में अपनी फिल्मों से भी ज्यादा दिलीप कुमार ऑफ स्क्रीन लव अफेयर के लिए भी चर्चा में रहते थे। उनका नाम मधुबाला, वैजयंती माला के साथ भी जुड़ा।

दिलीप कुमार ने 1966 में ब्यूटी क्वीन सायरा बानो से शादी की थी । सायरा कहती हैं की उन्होंने अपनी  12 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने ठान लिया की वह शादी करेगी तो सिर्फ दलीप कुमार से ही और उनका सपना सच हुआ जब 44 साल की उम्र में दलीप कुमार ने 22 साल की सायरा बानो को अपना हमसफर बना लिया साल  1966 में ।तो  ने जीवनकाल में दिलीप कुमार कुल आठ बार फिल्म फेयर सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का पुरस्कार पा चुके हैं।

                                           A Tribute to the Iron Man of India

Today is the National Integration Day and  we are also  celebrating the 139  birth anniversary of the   the Architect of the Modern United India, who made unsurpassed  efforts to unite about  the 600 princely states of the independent India.Yes I am talking about none of the other than the Person of Passion,  the Son of  Soil, and  who was  born in  Gujrat on  31 October, 1875 The Bharat Ratan and the  Iron man of India,Shri Sardar ballabh bhai Patel. From the very beginnig of his childhood, when he was in the primary school, he revealed his inborn compatibility and his  honest and  bold behaviour by  starting a campaign  against the teacher of his own school to stop convincing the students, whom he used to force to buy the text books   from his own book house. Today I was listening the  exclusive speeches of shri Sardar Patel broadcasted from All India Radio , some of the points that I could remamber were:
1.If we wish to maintain the unity of India , we should have a good ,effective and strong  central      government,as that kind of governance is able to think of goodness of every citizen of the country irrespective of any religion,geographical differences  and the boundaries of rich and the poor.
2. India has got   independence after a long and  hard struggle, to maintain it and to fight against the foreign attack by the enemy states, we should empower our army so no one from outside can dare to attack on our nation.
3. Patel said that, we should avoid to do such things in our life which is not good for ourselves or for individual, from which I understands that, every citizen should act upon the moral values. Especially our youth, they should not indulge themselves in the antisocial activities like drug abuse, torturing our senior citizen, doing harm to others.
4.lastly, I remember Patel emphasized that we should remain stick to our promises, our resolutions and decisions, again we,  the young blood of the Nation should do our duties either it is for our career goals, our promise to our friends,neighbors, society and the Nation. there are several things happened and done  in our history we should look behind and learn from them,that would be our true tribute to the great man of India. In the voice of the    honorable  current prime minister of India today-"Jab tak hum apna itihas nahi dekhenge, hum itihas nahi bana sakte"
so lets pledge to work for the sake of our National Integrity .

First October is celebrated as the international day of older people.The day was designated by United Nations General Assembly on 14 December,1990 following in 1991,the general assembly adopted the UN principles for older persons.   Since the inception of the day in the year, the day is observerd with the different themes.the theme for the day in the year 2014 is: Leaving no one behind:Promoting a society for all. The number of older people is continuously going up year by year .The global share of older persons of India  (aged 60 years or over) increased from 9.2 per cent in 1990 to 11.7 per cent in 2013 and will continue to grow as a proportion of the world population, reaching 21.1 per cent by 2050. Globally, the number of older persons is expected to more than double from 841 million people in 2013 to more than 2 billion in 2050.The population of older people is expected to reach upto 1.4 billion by 2030."By 2050,the number of older persons would be twice the number of children in the developed countries and the number of older persons in developing countries is expected to be double.this trend will have profound effects on countries and the individuals"this is the statement of the UN  Secretary General  Baan Ki-Moon. I remember, when we were in our childhood,used to live with our grandmother although she used to live apart from my parents,still we used to take care of  her till her  death.   later with due course of time, the trend of nuclear family began to come into ofed to live in the urban areas far from their parents in laws.they are hardly taken care by their daughters in laws and their children. So is the case about the care of parents by their children.one should not forget that one day every son has to become father and every father as grandfather. so on this international day of older people lets make our minds to take care and respect our elders.

There are several things that a radio jockey should keep in her mind like timings, proper operation of the transmission consoles and  the  good synchronization among the compering of the RJ'S, the songs being played  and the level of the voice of the spoken words and the music played. let me share experience of mine with you  friends, one day I had my duty in AIR FM Shimla. One of my RJ friend  was with me.Our transmission was about to be closed and my friend was doing the last show,  I told her to bind up the program and say  the closing line because we were running out of time. she understood and tried to bind up her show.she told in hurry her lines but what I noticed , she did not gave her mike feder. Mike feder is the key on the transmission console that take your voice outside  the studio to your radio or mobile or transisters.The scence made me lough but I could not lough loud just closed my mouth with my hands. my friend also started loughing when I told her with sign that she was wasting her voice not giving feder. After the transmission, we loughed very loud. with the incident , i learnt that we should tke care of time when we are on air. She told me not to share this incident with anyone else. But I could not remain without sharing with you. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......Don't share with anyone else......Sunte Rahiye Muskurate Rahiye....AIRFMShimla ke saath sirf 103.7 MHtz per.....

It is said that time is a good teacher, we learn with the passage of time. Every individual get across to some moments of life when s/he thanks to God for having lessons of life. Let me  share my experience of working in the AIRFM Shimla which u can tuned at 103.7 MHz. This station is situated at 103 near Chaura Maidan  at District Shimla of Himachal Pradesh. you know there are certain things beyond the bookish knowledge despite of being the student of Mass Media, I committed lots of mistakes while performing live on FM Shimla. I realised those mistakes and learnt a lot from my seniors. There is a rule or  trend that those who are above the age of 35, they act as Duty Officers . the role of duty officer is to monitor the broadcast to see whether the voice of the RJ, songs,  timings of the ad spots,all ar e going smoothly on radio, without any silence.or if there is some urgent broadcast from the main Delhi Station which has to be relayed by that radio station. the Duty officer would have to inform the presenters or RJ on duty. one day i had to make an announcement of the Delhi relay , although I made the announcement, but the duty office said that the announcement wcas not audible instead only silance was there on radio for the duration of the announcement. I was not able to understand, what was wrong. then the Engineer came into the Studio and observerd me while announcing, he taught me that if your needle  on the cons fp it in mind when speaking on the mike. That was a lesson for me. there are several other learnings from AIRFM Shimla, but that is all for today.                                                               'मैं पल दो पल का शायर हूं' 

आज फ़िल्मी दुनिया के लोकप्रिय गायक मुकेश की जयंती है, इनके द्वारा गाये गए गीत 'कभी-कभी मेरे दिल में खयाल आता है' और 'मैं पल दो पल का शायर हूं' इतने लोकप्रिय हुए की लोग आज भी इन गीतों को गुनगुनातें हैं, संगीत की दुनिया की इस महान हस्ती को इनकी जयंती पर भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करें

यह भी दुखद संयोग है कि आज ही के दिन फिल्मों से जुड़ी दो बड़ी हस्तियां दुनिया से विदा हुई। एक थे ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी तो दूसरे सदाबहार गायक मुकेश। राजकपूर की आवाज कहे जाने वाले मुकेश के निधन पर राजसाहब ने कहा था, 'मेरी आवाज और आत्मा दोनों चली गई।'
जीवन परिचय
इंजीनियर पिता के यहां 22 जुलाई, 1923 को दिल्ली में जन्मे मुकेश के घर में संगीत से किसी का नाता नहीं था। मुकेश के बेटे नितिन मुकेश गायक है और पोते नील नितिन मुकेश बॉलीवुड के चर्चित अभिनेता हैं। इनके पिता जोरावर चंद्र माथुर इंजीनियर थे।

946 में मुकेश की मुलाकात एक गुजराती लड़की बची बेन (सरल मुकेश) से हुई। दोनों में प्रेम हो गया। मुकेश कायस्थ थे इसलिए परिवार इस शादी के लिए राजी नहीं था, लेकिन मुकेश दोनों परिवारों के तमाम बंधनों की परवाह न करते हुए अपने जन्मदिन 22 जुलाई, 1946 को सरल के साथ शादी के अटूट बंधन में बंध गए।
मुकेश बेटे नितिन मुकेश को गायक नहीं बनाना चाहते थे क्योंकि उनकी नजर में गायन एक सुंदर रुचिकर, मगर बड़ा कष्टदायक व्यवसाय है। मुकेश को अपने दो गीत बेहद पसंद थे- जाने कहां गए वो दिन.. और दोस्त-दोस्त ना रहा.।
फिल्मों ने बनाया स्टार सिंगर
मुकेश की आवाज की खूबी को उनके एक दूर के रिश्तेदार मोतीलाल ने तब पहचाना, जब उन्होंने उन्हें अपनी बहन की शादी में गाते हुए सुना। मोतीलाल उन्हें बंबई अपने घर ले गए और मुकेश के लिए रियाज का पूरा इंतजाम किया। सुरों के बादशाह मुकेश ने अपना सफर 1941 में शुरू किया। निर्दोष फिल्म में मुकेश ने अदाकारी करने के साथ-साथ गाने भी खुद गाए। उन्होंने इसके बाद माशूका, आह, अनुराग और दुल्हन में भी बतौर अभिनेता काम किया। उन्होंने सब से पहला गाना दिल ही बुझा हुआ हो तो गाया था। मुकेश का सफर तो 1941 से ही शुरू हो गया था, मगर एक गायक के रूप में उन्होंने अपना पहला गाना 1945 में फिल्म पहली नजर में गाया। उस वक्त के सुपर स्टार माने जाने वाले मोतीलाल पर फिल्माया जाने वाला गाना दिल जलता है तो जलने दे हिट हुआ था।
मुकेश का अंदाज
केएल सहगल की आवाज में गाने वाले मुकेश ने पहली बार 1949 में फिल्म अंदाज से अपनी आवाज को अपना अंदाज दिया। उसके बाद तो मुकेश की आवाज हर गली हर नुक्कड़ और हर चौराहे पर गूंजने लगी। प्यार छुपा है इतना इस दिल में, जितने सागर में मोती और डम-डम डिगा-डिगा जैसे गाने संगीत प्रेमियों के जुबान पर चलते रहते थे।
एक्टिंग में रहे फ्लॉप
मुकेश ने एक्टिंग भी की, लेकिन एक के बाद एक तीन फ्लॉप फिल्मों ने उनके सपने को चकनाचूर कर दिया और मुकेश यहूदी फिल्म के गाने में अपनी आवाज देकर फिर से फिल्मी दुनिया पर छा गए।
राज कपूर की आवाज बन गए मुकेश
947 में फिल्म नीलकमल से मुकेश को राजकपूर के लिए आवाज देने का पहले मौका मिला। इसी दौरान नौशाद ने मुकेश को अपनी गायन की एक अलग शैली विकसित करने की सलाह दी, जिससे मुकेश की अपनी एक अलग पहचान हो। फिल्म आग के बाद मुकेश राज कपूर की आवाज बन गए। यह दो जिस्म और एक जान का अनूठा संगम था। मुकेश तो पहले से ही राज के लिए फिल्म नीलकमल में- आंख जो देखे.. गा चुके थे। उन्होंने अपनी जिंदगी का आखिरी गीत- चंचल, शीतल, निर्मल कोमल.. भी राजकपूर की सत्यम, शिवम, सुंदरम फिल्म के लिए रिकॉर्ड करवाया। यह गीत उन्होंने अमेरिका के लिए रवाना होने से कुछ घंटे पहले रिकॉर्ड करवाया था। इस जोड़ी ने न जाने कितने अनगिनत यादगार गीत दिए। जैसे छोड़ गए बालम.., जिंदा हूं इस तरह.., रात अंधेरी दूर सवेरा.., दोस्त-दोस्त ना रहा.., जीना यहां मरना यहां.., कहता है जोकर.., जाने कहां गए वो दिन..। मुकेश के निधन की खबर सुनकर राज सन्न रह गए और उनके मुंह से निकल पड़ा- मैंने अपनी आवाज खो दी।
दर्दभरे नगमे
मुकेश ने गाने तो हर किस्म के गाए, मगर दर्द भरे गीतों की चर्चा मुकेश के गीतों के बिना अधूरी है। उनकी आवाज ने दर्द भरे गीतों में जो रंग भरा, उसे दुनिया कभी भुला नहीं सकेगी। ओ जाने वाले हो सके तो लौट के आना (फिल्म बंदिनी से), दोस्त दोस्त ना रहा (फिल्म संगम से), जाने कहां गए वो दिन (फिल्म मेरा नाम जोकर से), मैंने तेरे लिए ही सात रंग के सपने चुने (फिल्म आनंद से), कभी-कभी मेरे दिल में खयाल आता है (फिल्म कभी-कभी से), चंचल शीतल निर्मल कोमल (फिल्म सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम से) जैसे गाने गाकर प्यार के एहसास को और गहरा करने में कोई कसर ना छोड़ी।
निधन
मुकेश का निधन 27 अगस्त, 1976 को दिल का दौरा पडऩे के कारण संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में हुआ। मुकेश के गीतों की चाहत उनके चाहने वालों के दिलों में सदा जीवित रहेगी। उनके गीत हम सबके लिए प्रेम, हौसला और आशा का वरदान हैं। मुकेश जैसे महान गायक न केवल दर्द भरे गीतों के लिए, बल्कि वो तो हम सबके दिलों में सदा के लिए बसने के लिए बने थे। उनकी आवाज का अनोखापन, भीगे स्वर संग हल्की-सी नासिका लिए हुए न जाने कितने संगीत प्रेमियों के दिलों को छू जाती है। वो एक महान गायक तो थे ही, साथ ही एक बहुत अच्छे इंसान भी थे। वो सदा मुस्कुराते रहते थे और खुशी-खुशी लोगों से मिलते थे।
